Landscape Laborer

At present, we are looking to hire seasonal full-time Landscape Laborers to join our growing team. This opportunity is available to a reliable candidate who has experience with mowing, trimming, mulching, edging, planting and clean ups. Ability to use a variety of landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, backpack blowers, weed whackers, etc. preferred. This person must understand the importance of a professional appearance and have strong communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement directives and follow instructions from Crew Leader.
  • Maintenance: Mowing, trimming, mulching, edging, planting and clean ups.
  • Drive company truck and trailer to job sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
  • 1 year experience in Landscaping
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and operate small equipment
  • Must be able to work outside during multiple types of weather
  • Must have a clean appearance
  • Must be able to work on Saturdays during our busy season
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Gardener/Landscape Maintainer

We currently have an excellent opportunity open: a Gardener/Landscape Maintainer position working out of our Norwich, CT location. This is an exceptional opportunity to further your career in the green industry and join our winning team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive a company truck and trailer to job sites
  • Operate landscape equipment
  • Implement directives and follow instructions from Supervisors
  • Recognizing basic maintenance requirements for trees, shrubs, and perennials
  • Keep accurate records of completed work orders daily
  • Assist other crews with horticultural maintenance and installations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Minimum 1 year gardening/landscaping experience including but not limited to:
    bed care/weeding, mulching, trimming, pruning, planting, and basic plant
    identification.
  • Must be organized, manage time effectively and have attention to detail
  • Must be able to perform basic math and have good communication skills
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and operate small equipment
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (cold, rain, wind, etc).
  • Must always read and follow safety procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
